SchoolSuite

SchoolSuite is a collection of applications and solutions developed by RedFox to meet the teaching and network management needs of primary and secondary schools. It evolved from tools we created during our early involvement with UK Schools while implementing the National Grid for Learning strategy.

It is now over twenty years since the NGfL roll-out began and we are still proud to be developing tools and solutions for schools facing some of the unique challenges that arise when integrating ICT into the curriculum!

Some of the main network management components are listed opposite for your delectation, but there is more to see than network management.

ShoolSuite is also an eclectic mix of apps, provisioning and management tools for Microsoft SharePoint, productivity and communication add-ons for Microsoft Outlook, cloud integration facilities and a collection of handy web applications.

  • Management Console Management Console - computer, printer and user account administration integrated into a unified tool available for use anywhere on the network.
  • User Provisioning Tools User Provisioning Tools - a collection of tools for creating and synchronising user accounts based on predefined templates.
  • Desktops Manager Desktops Manager - manage the desktop and start menu applications that will be made available to users and groups on which computers in which rooms.
  • Network Share Tool Network Share Tool - provisions, imports and exports network shares, an easier way to migrate and manage shares and home folders.
  • Profile Sync Wizard Profile Sync Wizard - used to simplify the setup and maintenance of mandatory user profiles, by automating the conversion of roaming profiles.
  • Teacher Network Tools Teacher Tools - provide teachers with an easy way to access student user account management facilities that have been delegated to them.
  • Desktop Management Agent Desktop Agent - remote messaging and maintenance service, that provides client session logging, event and performance monitoring and management features.
  • User Session Tools User Session Tools - a collection of utility tools, that include a desktop sync client, printer deployment, user identification, session reporting and other features.
